Re: Is Rugby Legalised Thuggery?

I used to lodge with a couple in Norwich and the bloke was a ref in Norfolks amateur Union league. I used to tag along to watch at w/ends and it was great fun - I had been a fan of union for a while and had played at school but I hadn't noticed the camaraderie between the opposing players before. Since then i've learnt more about the game and football can definitely learn a few things from it!

I dont really think the domestic Union game got enough exposure this season, I was expecting more after the world Cup TBH.

I agree. He is a disgrace to the male sex..........why does'nt he just go the whole way and get his b*lls cut off? You never know, he might be able to score penalties that way.

Have you read David James' excuse for not saving Zidane's penalty?

Sven didn't show him a video of Zidane in action. However, the French manager showed Barthez a video, that's how he was able saved Beckham's spot kick. Clever these frogs.

Sven did'nt bother showing any of the England guys a video on the basis that unless they're watching cartoons, they're to thick to understand.
