Re: Its "Nice to Ladies Week"

Lol.

That made me laugh. I might get a pram and a doll, just to do the ramming and get a bottle of WKD.

Re: Its "Nice to Ladies Week"

I think that pram friendly areas in town centres are long overdue.......mainly because I push a wheelchair. I would like to see the motorists who block the ramp areas of pavements fined......I would like to see cars that park on the pavement given parking tickets too......not only do women pushing prams have to negotiate these obstacles......sometimes meaning that they have to walk in the road, but the disabled, the wheelchair user and the blind also have to get round them when they shouldn't even be there.

I would not subscribe to women only buses..........and though I can see the reasoning behind women only compartments on trains, it shouldn't be necessary. Women should be able to feel safe whenever and where-ever they travel.

And for the gentlemen out there.......I say thank you for all the ill-mannered women you have opened doors for in the past......those who didn't value your respect for them as women. THANK YOU!
