I believe the whole packing thing is much more "intense" for females. On my recent trip I pack slimly and had all I needed, even considering the cool weather. I love layering my clothes if I need extra warmth.
When Annie and I travelled over there last year, we must have had 4 times as much "stuff!"  Have fun momma Mez. And Susan, be good. Uncle Brian is watching from his kiwi bird!
