Re: jack straw.

Ronny Biggs, now let me think, wasn't he the guy involved in a train robbery of sort's the driver of the train got hit over the head and died in poverty never able to work again.
While he, (Ronnie Biggs), breaks out of jail swans off to exotic parts, get's a girl preggers so that he can't be extradited, lived the high life until he finds himself ill and wants to come home to take advantage of the NHS and expected parole because of his condition!

Is that the Ronnie Biggs you mean or am I totally wrong?

If I'm right, let him rot, Hell isn't good enough for his sort.

Re: jack straw.

It seems Mr Biggs is to be paroled, could be as early as Friday, although he is likely to be in hospital for anything up to six weeks

He may not have hit the driver, but, if he and his mates hadn't been there the train driver may have had a good life and a decent retirement, the sort of thing you want for Biggs, if he had done the time he would be free to enjoy his retirement now.

But now he is here we could keep him on a life support machine till he has served his sentence,After all It's only money and we have plenty.

Re: jack straw.

Saw an item on the news last night where he said he didn't regret what he'd done, in fact he was proud that he was so notorious as he would be in the history books, he also bragged about having a child with a Brazilian citizen which ment he couldn't be extradited to Britain, I think his words were thank god. Yet when the money ran out and his health started to fail he couldn't get back here quick enough. Given the fact that he had only served 1 year of his original sentence there was still a huge chunk to serve, the fact is if he had completed his original sentence he would have been out years ago, but even now its only 9 years he's had behind bars

Re: jack straw.

lol this reminds me of the film tough guys with burt lancaster and kirk douglass who were retired train robbers who once released from jail set about robbing another train despite been 70 years old or around that age lol

if the films anything to go by biggs will most definatly re-offend if released
