Jean Lockwood

I have just received some very sad news regarding Conservative Councillor for Immanuel Ward Jean Lockwood. Jean has been in very poor health for a few years now and unfortunately she sadly died today. Jean was a very good friend of mine and a first class representative for Immanuel ward who will be sadly missed RIP Jean

Re: Jean Lockwood

That's very sad news.

She served the public well, in many capacities.

My sympathies to her family.

My best friend, who lives in Gran Canaria, is actually related to her. When his mum, who lives in Scotland, asked where I lived, she said she had a relative living down in Oswaldtwistle, and that was Jean.

Re: Jean Lockwood

I presume the flags in Accrington/Oswaldtwistle were at half mast because of this sad news?

Nice gesture.
