Re: Jeremy beadle
Who the hell is Jeremy Beadle? Where did he live in Hyndburn? How many people, from this website, personally knew him ? I suspect he was not from these parts and no one did know him, so what the hell is this thread all about other than putrid drivel?

Iraq isn't in Hyndburn, but it does pop up in threads on here from time to time.

Possibly because there are people from Hyndburn - or their friends and relatives - who have their lives on the line in Iraq.
So then...who on here was a friend/relative of Jeremy Beadle? The answer is no one. I wonder what the size of the carbon footprint is for this totally useless thread?

Re: Jeremy beadle
Teabag my old chum, just reading through a few of the most recent threads that you've started.
We have two royal ones. The first concerning blackmail at the palace, and the other the Diana inquest, and there relevance to Hyndburn is?
I read that in his life time Beadle raised over £100 million for various charities. You never know, some of it might have wound it's way to someone in this area.

Easy answer to that one, chummy. A large number of people in Hyndburn are taxpayers and as such they have an interest in where and how their dosh is spent. The Royal family is a contentious issue, as you yourself have made plain in your postings. Taxpayers money is spent on 'em in one way or another, so I would assume it is of interest to the people of Hyndburn.
It would be interesting to see how much this Beagle earned in his capacity as charity fund raiser. I bet his annual income was substancially more than the average income of someone in Hyndburn.

...and the relevance to the good people of Hyndburn of two other threads you started in General Chat, the one about homosexuals in the Royal Navy, and the sixties television programme Robin Hood?
Since a lot of people here probably bought the products that were advertised inbetween the programmes that paid Beadle's wages, that could equate with your tenuous link about why we might be at all interested in the royal family.
You really are turning into a grumpy old man.
If people here want to share their thoughts, over the death of a public figure, so be it.
You don't need to read it, nevermind post in it.
Go and read a book. It might improve your quizing skills, and in doing so make you a happier old man.

Re: Jeremy beadle
Hey Garinda....my apologies. I did not realise you were in my fan club. At least I can think of no other reason you may have for keeping such an articulate record of my previous postings. Anyway, be careful - don't do yourself an injury with all the effort. We would'nt like 'owt to happen to you.

I'm blessed with a good memory, and an eye for detail, what can I say, except R.I.P. Jeremy Beadle, even if you weren't local, never went in an Accy pound shop, or had your holidays up the Coppice.

Ooooooh you miserable beggar!
We've had lots of threads for people who've died. We don't have to have met them to express sadness at their passing.
