Takes all sorts, I suppose.
Though that's the sort of attitude that's probably responsible for the rivers of blood that pour out of the doors of A & E, at hospitals throughout the country, every weekend.
I've never met her, but I always thought I'd never get on with Winnie Mandela, and therefore wouldn't particularly like her.
Though personally I'd feel ashamed, if my self-worth was so woefully lacking, if I ever said I would 'enjoy punching' her, as you have, of someone you apparently dislike.
The trouble with unprovoked violence is that there's always someone bigger and stronger than yourself, somewhere along the line.
I hope in years to come you aren't sat in a nursing home, and someone there doesn't like the cut of your jib, and decides to punch the living daylights out of you.
Takes all sorts.

Happily I treat everyone the same, regardles of who they are, or think they are.
I've posted before, much to my suprise, Thatcher herself was charm personified, when I had dinner with her. She took a genuine interest in others, and conversation was as it should be, a two way operation.

In my experience, it's the bit part players, with low self-esteem, who are out to prove their worth, by treating others appallingly.
James Hewitt was another obnoxious prat.
Then there's those who hang on to the coat tails of those in power locally.

Working with some one is a hell of a site different than hanging on to coat tails, given the fact that I've done nothing really since 2001, due to my ever increasing heath problems, I find your comments wide of the mark, but its what I've come to expect from you, making statements you know sod all about

Given the fact that you were replying to my post, and that you have this thing about my involvement with everything PB does, can't think anyone on here would think you meant anyone different

No one would have known of your support for Peter Britcliffe if you hadn't spent years writing to the press, making it perfectly clear to everyone, and also the act of throwing your toys out of the pram in protest, when he didn't make the candidate list in the recent General Election, and sharing that information with everyone on here, makes it all perfectly clear.

Re: John Prescott elevated to The House of Lords
'Less than two years ago, Mr Prescott, 71, insisted: 'I don't want to be a member of the House of Lords. I will not accept it.'
'The former Deputy Prime Minister has also criticised 'flunkery and titles' and once described hereditary peers - who he will now sit alongside - as an 'offence against democracy'.
'John Prescott has revealed the reason behind his extraordinary decision to accept a peerage: He wants to save the planet.;
Prezza's extraordinary peerage U-turn: I'll only accept Lords place to help the environment, says former Deputy PM | Mail Online
Oh that's alright then.
Two Jags is only doing it to save the planet.
He must think we're green, swallowing that one.

Re: John Prescott elevated to The House of Lords
Prescott has gone well down in my estimation not just by accepting this, but by a pathetic excuse as well.

Re: John Prescott elevated to The House of Lords
at the moment there seems to be no end of pathetic excuses for doing things which show the politician/Celebrity/ex Royal in bad light.
Prezza....he did it for Pauline( I wonder if he thought about her so carefully when he was bonking some young blonde thing from his office)
Sarah Ferguson........she had been drinking(er....she didn't sound drunk on the video......I have never been so drunk that my critical faculties about what is right or wrong, deserted me.......aah, but as Jaysay observed, I have led a sheltered life).
David Laws.....well he did it to protect his privacy......how does that work then?
You wouldn't automatically think that the landlord of your accommodation was your lover......or would you? And he only 'fessed' up because he was about to be sussed by a daily newspaper.
Personally, I don't care about this man and his bedroom habits......but I do care that he thought he could steal/defraud/embezzle money from the tax payer......Especially as he really didn't need the money, having had a lucrative career that allowed him to retire as a millionaire at the age of 28.
He might be academically clever, but he was pretty dumb to think that he would not get caught out.

I didn't protest about Britcliffe not making the candidates list my protest was about have a candidates list foisted on use
