He'd never have noticed.

Seems that Prescott isn't the only left-wing fire brand who'd rather preach 'Do as I say, not as I do.'

'Arthur Scargill has claimed more than £250,000 in expenses for a luxury flat in London — despite stepping down as head of the miners’ union eight years ago.'

He lives in one of the most expensive blocks in London not Barnsley and I bet Skinner doesn't retire to Bolsover

Re: John Prescott elevated to The House of Lords

I have just watched Have I got a bit more news for You on BBCiplayer
BBC iPlayer - Have I Got a Bit More News for You: Series 39: Episode 9

Prescott is this weeks host and denies he has accepted, or even been offered a peerage.

There are some quite hilarous moments in this - worth watching

I can't help but like the chap - he can laugh at himself, which is rare in politicians.

See, somethings on television are worth watching.

As for the ability to laught at himself.

He never appeared on the programme before his retirememt.

Much too risky, letting the electorate see you, warts and all.

He is laughing now...for a fee, as he tootles off to the Lords.

I suppose that's what's now called taking advantage of the Free Market Economy.

Or to use it's older name, whoring.

Ha, ha, ha.

Hee, hee, hee.

I'm a laughing buffoon,

Can you afford my fee?
