Jp's refusing to take the Victim money.
There was an atricle in the paper yesterday about a JP refusing to take the extra £15 in fines from a young guy who had been sentenced in his court....he said that he felt that these surcharges were not 'fair'...so he wan't going to take the money...he siad that he knew that he would be reported ......and probably sacked from the bench. Today, more JP's are doing the same thing. Common sense prevails I think.
