Justice or Vengeance.
So I've been reading a few threads discussing a whole range of misdemeanours and the just desserts that the perpetrators deserve, and the question arose whether there's a difference between vengeance, albeit on behalf of society, and justice.
I find it difficult to dissociate my own emotions from certain criminal cases especially those involving children and wonder if I am alone in this. Media hype does not help, so I wonder, do we get the justice we think we deserve as citizens, or the vengeance that assuages our baser selves' anger? |

From my point the justice we get these days is a complete joke,in many cases.Sod all to do wi vengeance, but think the farcical sentences fer some crimes make the public want it.

justice is a laugh,nowt to do wi vengeance i think like most things "its all about the money".Happen We should try to be more forgiving but crimes against kids,cowardly beatings of OAPs etc i'm up for 'family justice/vengeance
