I meant nobody on this thread had said he was Jamaican. And if you "don't care either way" there wasn't much point posting on this thread in the first place, was there?

Garbage yeh cared enough to assume vigilante justice, n could be summat herbal. there aint any get out of jail free cards on here.

Thats what i mean, there should be no get out of jail put this tag on and do 40 hours community service. These people just laugh at the justice system. It should not be down to individuals defending their own property these scum should be scared of what would happen if they get caught.

There will always be those that rob and murder etc. But harsher sentences would stop a lot of what goes on.
aA lot of them have no respect for the police the justice system not even their parents, they want an easy life, seem to think it's owd em most of the time. And while the punishemt no longer fits the crime they will keep on doing what they do. Don't for one minute think there is a quick fix, but something needs to be done.

To be quite honest Wyn I didn't know he was of West Indian origin until i read it on here, oh and by the way, the chap may have been arrested, but he's still in hospital suffering from injuries he sustained during the attack

On the German news today A German pensioner 77 (and Hunter)was attacked & had his house robbed by 5 youths/thugs in December last year, as they were running off he shot one & killed him. The Judges have dropped the case against him & said he was acting in self defence. 3 others (druggies) have been sent to a prison re-hab & a girl who was also involved was given a year in nick & a €2000 fine.

The pensioner got it right. In situations like the one he faced, shoot and worry about the consequences later. It is always better to be judged by twelve than carried by six.

Splendid to see the line the C.P.S. are taking on this issue, just hope the plod have sense to take it onboard n not even arrest folk in the first place.

yet when a farmer in England shot a thief that had repeatedly targeted him running away he got put in prison.

It shouldn't matter if they are running away or not they shouldn't have been there in the first place
