Another one this morning, a Birmingham City fan ran down and killed an Aston Villa fan, because they had just won 5-1, he was found guilty of murder and was given life in prison, being told he would have to serve 12 years before being eligible for parole, I'll bet the family of the dead lad are really pleased with that sentence. Its also reported that the first person convicted by using DNA, one Colin Pitchfork, is challenging his 30 year sentence having now spent nearly 21 years behind bars, it will be a joke if he gets it reduced. When capital punishment was abolished it should have been replaced by life in prison, but with life meaning life, not the joke sentences we here of, week in week out these days
