I thought it was the thought that counted. I give but don't expect to be thanked, some do some don't. I don't think it matters either way.
In the old days you used to get a pop up message telling you had new karma. Since that stopped it can be days before I notice if I have any new karma.

Why would anyone put you on ignore?
You make a broad range of posts on many subjects. You are very opinionated but not in the ignorant way that others are on here. You know I like reading your posts but have pointed out to you that you sometimes go to far, as do lots of us

Didn't you enjoy Blackadder?
I never miss Timeteam.
Apart from his Tv appearances, he is chairman of Equity

I like him too and I especially enjoy his serious side because he can make dull subjects much more interesting.

The film is terrible! The book is superb. The film ruined it.

So you're saying that someone complained because I suggested that JB was boring me? I doubt that somehow. I also believe that when you consider the amount of stirring that has occurred on this thread, my simple post was unnecessarily removed.

Re: Karma Award Scheme
It was reported so it was removed .
anyway can we get back on thread about Karma ta
The karma system was put in place in the early days of Accyweb to help with the post count and it is working perfectly to this day
so i don't think it will be going anywhere soon

Re: Karma Award Scheme
Good for you Jaysay.
But as less has stated if you had done a site search for Karma you would have found at least 20 threads on the subject.

dont get me started on this , iv had many a post removed that were well within the rules of accyweb but have been removed because of one person who decided that because they disagree with me my entire post shoud be removed regardless of how many people agreed with what i said
on the other hand iv had plenty of posts that do bend the rules a bit that have managed to stay so it evens its self out in a strange way
but yes it is frustrating when a perfectly decent posts gets removed because 1 person or 1 person and their buddy decide that your opinion or view isnt the same as theirs and gets your post removed

Re: Karma Award Scheme
/note to self - add Mick to my ignore list.
Karma should be treated in the way it's intended, as a bit of fun. I do like to receive positive karma, as it indicates that I've helped someone, or made them laugh, or whatever. Negative karma isn't always nice, but I don't lose sleep over it.
