It was announced on the radio today that a new scheme was to be introduced similar to the kite mark scheme to show quality Car servicing garages, places that would actually charge for whats wrong with a car rather than what they can make up just to squeeze money out of you.
Alex Lester (radio 2) suggested that we use a spanner system to show quality of services below is my interpretation of this system.
I was thinking the garages in the scheme would supply
little window stickers to fit in our cars so that they
can recognise us as we drive onto the forecourt, but
to adapt the spanner theme.
1 spanner = the owner of this car is good for an
unnecesary oil change.
2 spanners = the owner of this car is good for
recycling, his old parts back to him.
3 spanners = Treat this bloke with respect but
remember it's your birthday!
4 spanners = If your really going to rip him off for
that much please try not to laugh right in his face
leave him ignorant for the rest of us!
5 spanners = Run a duster over that old wreck you've
been trying to get rid of this is your man.
