A quote from that news article
Quote:
Last year a TK Maxx shop assistant was stabbed to death 11 times at a store in Thurmaston, Leicestershire.
|
Does that mean that 11 shop assistants were stabbed to death or maybe a shop assistant was killed 11 times.

I was not being sarcastic. I was pointing out the poor grammar in the article.

Re: knife crime problems?? lets give them out free with a coat!!
I do not see a problem with people carrying a knife. People have been using pocket knives for hundreds of years. I have one in my pocket all the time I am at work.
The problem is that some people stick them in other people. The problem is that when they are caught they are not punished enough to deter other people. Sticking a knife in someone should get you a minimum 10 years inside.

I thought these people had buyers who inspected the articles to be sold? If they had, they would surely have noticed, so i guess, the buyers dont exist anymore (cutbacks), are blind, or put the items on sale with full knowledge of the knives!

Well what do you think someone should get for stabbing someone else without a damn good reason?

I agree with this to a point ( tried to give karma, apparently i have put out too much in the last 24 hrs ) but to be honest, what genuine need is there to have fashion items with knives?? Just asking for trouble. Especially for dozy birds such as myself, that would end up tripping up and skewering myself

There is none. I was just saying that knives themselves are not the problem, it is the owners of the knives.
