Apparently not to the leader of Lancashire County Council.

God forbid H.B.C. sells Haworth Art Gallery to them.

They'll probably think Tiffany glass is a member of the Pussycat Dolls.

Re: Lancashire's Tudor Rose

I'm suprised they haven't gone the whole hog, and totally wiped away any historical accuracy, and given us this.

Still it's only money.

It's not like people worked hard to pay the taxes, that have funded this.

It grows on trees, don't you know?

Or should that be bushes?

The last I heard the logo was only going to be changed on items when they needed replacing. The replacements would be cheaper as the new logo uses fewer colours.

Re: Lancashire's Tudor Rose

Cllr Driver says

"Local people tell us that they want clear and regular communications from us, and to know who to go for to get the services they need. The new logo is one step in our plans to improve the way we deal with our residents

Note the use of the words 'clear and regular'before he then goes on to say

'And we will not be changing things like signs, uniforms and letterheads overnight - only when materials need replacing and have to be changed."

The changes won't be clear if different logos are in use at the same time and it won't be regular if different 'materials' need replacing as and when. Seems to me he really should have used the words 'confused and spasmodic'
