Sorry have we missed you?
Not to worry we'll make up for it.
Oh how remiss, watch this space...
Actually, I've noticed most decent new members, once they get over their initial, 'keyboard fears', post very nicely, in their own, evil ways that get away with being called 'acceptable', it's the ones that come on site and demand we all align to their way of thinking that get the stick.
God, I've had plenty of those and so have the rest of you, they always want us to conform to them, (the ones that stay realise, this site ain't for conforming, we just do).

I agree. Damned East Europeans coming over here pinching our jobs and chatting our women up. No wonder Accy's going down the drain.

I think that almost 7 years down the line I am a bit too late to be initiated....so thanks for the offer Less, but I will pass on that dubious pleasure.

Re: Lap Dance Club
A few points for everyone's information -
1. I have no connection whatsoever to Kevin Logan - I do not know the man and have no desire to.
2. What I got up to in my youth over forty years ago has no bearing on the person I am today.
3. I stand by my opinions regarding the proposed lap dancing club, whilst appreciating that other people have their opinions.
4. I have been surprised by people appearing to deliberately misinterpret my comments and make general personal assumptions about me without knowing me at all.
5. I appear to have foolishly misinterpreted what appears to be a definite clique for friendliness - silly me!
6. If you are thinking of responding to my comments, please don't bother because I will not be visiting this site again - please feel free to discuss amongst yourself if you've nothing better to talk about! If I could fathom out how to unsuscribe I would!
Bye!

Re: Lap Dance Club
Mmmm .... so that's that ...... couldn't get rid of me that easily I personally wouldn't wave the white flag, I would stuff it up someone's where-the-sun-don't shine, metaphorically of course .... ah well, different strokes for different folks.

More come backs than Barbra Streisand.
You should be on the stage.
Or if you're a bit nervous, start off smaller.
A pole in a local club, entertaining the riff-raff.
Personally I think it's sad if you disappear.
Your choice though. No one's forcing you.
I'd feel it a poor do if I ran off after encountering someone I had a difference opinion with.
I'd much prefer to stand my ground, and have my opinions heard, even if no one else shared them.

Perhaps it was the slightly chastising post, that no one was agreeing how outrageous this proposed planning application was.
That, or the patronising, preachy, moralistic tone that was subsequently adopted, when it appeared few shared her worries.
