Mondays at I-Candy Accrington, special offer.

Pie, peas, and paps.

Ten pounds, all in.

That's a bit steep. Can't you negotiate a group discount?

I am not having a go at you but I know you have a memory like an elephant so I am sure you can remember other new members that came and went because they did not like the way some members treated them.

A couple of long term members have commented recently why they don't post any more. I am sure you will remember them as well.

This is at the beginning of the rules

Fair point, and personally I always try to give a cheery welcome to every new member in the introduction threads.

However, in General Chat, if someone feels comfortable enough to share their thoughts in public, sometimes using strongly worded language, then that person should be ready to accept that people might sometimes disagree with them, and similarly strong worded replies might be forthcoming.

If on sharing your thoughts in public, you are suprised if they create a response, you're probably better off keeping your written musings in a locked diary.

Yes, I do have a memory like an elephant, and could happily list members who've joined Accy Web, and subsequently left.

I'd also surmise that most caused controversy by what, or how they posted, and didn't appreciate it, when what they'd posted was challenged.

Re: Lap Dance Club

As well as abiding by forum rules, or trying to, I also follow my own code of conduct when posting on here.

Be as nice as apple pie to nice people.

People who aren't so nice, get a taste of their own medicine.

With an added dash of aresnic thrown in for good measure.

I can also list the many, who started here by gobbing off, and who were pulled up and challenged, but stayed.

Re: Lap Dance Club

I agree with garinda , i myself got off to a bit of a rocky start and got a bit of a savaging but i am still here like it or not.Its already been said but if you post your views they exactly that YOUR views and if someone thinks different and says so you shouldnt spit the dummy. Even more so if you have been a bit inflammatory with your wording.

Re: Lap Dance Club

It's a forum, people come, people go. Some people join, cause a bit of controversy, then flounce off when it rebounds on them, others shrug it off and carry on regardless to become one of the gang. That's human nature. As for the two longstanding members who don't post anymore, that's unfortunate, but a heck of a lot more longstanding members ARE still here and active.

As for Anne, well, she informed us on Monday that she "wouldn't be visiting this forum again". However, she dropped in yesterday and today. Who knows? She might start posting again!

...and if people consistently break forum rules, including the one you quoted, then they should be banned.

Presumably all those who didn't appreciate having what they posted challenged, will all come rushing back.

As we saw happen in public houses, after the smoking ban was introduced, and the pub trade flourished as never before, filled with all those non-smokers who'd once stayed away.

Anyway, thanks for introducing the thread wander, but shouldn't we get back to bumping and grinding?

I'll pay you one on.
