Re: Lasses.....The've got you sussed
Wearing their man's old T-shirt in bed (44%)
Sporting ill-fitting bras and greying pants (42%)
Regularly leaving the house without brushing teeth or hair (26%)
Doing the school run with a coat over their pyjamas (17%)
Drinking beer from a pint glass (43%)
Singing in the street while drunk (41%)
Talking with their mouth full (15%)
Eating fast food and applying make-up on public transport (25%).
Ok old mans tshirt in bed? His clothes are all in scotland - well nearly theres one item of clothing he left down here but i aint wearing it/them.
Ill fitting bras and greying pants - was sized up for my bras, greying pants - i dont wear white pants unless under white trousers and then they are white silky shorts ....
leaving the house without brushing my teeth - if i have a fit i cant brush my teeth after biting my tongue toothpaste sends me into orbit also mouthwash does... so what i do is brush my teeth without toothpaste always brush my hair before leaving my bedroom never mind the house!!!
doing the school run - what kids? Ok i did the school run sometimes with my niece but was always washed and dressed before i went out the house
drinking from a pint glass - course you do - its cheaper than buying a half - cos they always tag on an extra 5p for a half.... also its easier when out and about buying a pint especially when in a busy pub...
singing in the street while drunk ..... so what everyone does that - worst is when they think theyre in tune....
talking with their mouth full.... been known to do this - mainly when shouting at the nieces and nephews to stop fighting especially in maccydees.....
you tell me who hasnt walked down blackpool front with a bag of chips in their hand?
i dont wear makeup that often - only if im off out for the night - even then i dont wear it playing pool .... no fellas there to impress.....

I can imagine that a woman slob would get angry by being told.......
........by a man who is a slob himself.
It is now very rare to see a man smartly dressed.
Mens casual wear can be smart
eg poloneck and chinos, cords with a crew neck sweater
What defines a man as a slob in my book is -
trainers, jogging pants, football shirts
unless he happens to be jogging to a football field

I'm cut to the quick Margaret, you have just described me to a tee, but thats how I feel comfortable. Mind you thats only when I'm out with the mates, other times its Farah stacks, M & S type shirt black loafers and black blazor or leather jacket, not bomber type

Re: Lasses.....The've got you sussed
Life's too short to worry what other people are thinking all the time.
I admit that in the comfort of my own house (especially at the weekend) I am a slob (tartan pyjama bottoms and baggy fleece in winter or baggy shorts & t-shirt in summer).
However, I need to go through the full personal hygiene routine (excluding make-up) followed by the "what uncomfortable items shall I wear today" dilemma, before leaving the house (even for just a short errand).
The minute I return home, I'm back in comfy trousers and fleece.
I am not personally comfortable in trackie bottoms (even for sport), but if some women are, and they have they confidence to be seen out in daylight wearing them, who am I to criticise

I am exactly the same even down to the make up, as long as I am comfy that is all that matters

Re: Lasses.....The've got you sussed
But what if you have to wear trakkie bottoms for work like what i do? My uniform is a polo shirt and trakkie bottoms and trainers. I'm not going to wear decent stuff to go to work in, then get changed at work and after work get changed again to come home.

Re: Lasses.....The've got you sussed
Wearing their man's old T-shirt in bed (44%) Did this years ago, but love my pjs now
Sporting ill-fitting bras and greying pants (42%) Nope never
Regularly leaving the house without brushing teeth or hair (26%) Nope Never
Doing the school run with a coat over their pyjamas (17%) No way!!!! although dont have to do school run anymore.
Drinking beer from a pint glass (43%) All the time need to keep up with hubby
Singing in the street while drunk (41%) Did when I was younger but wouldnt these days ..
Talking with their mouth full (15%) nope one of my pet hates..
Eating fast food and applying make-up on public transport (25%) .Nope try not to use public transport unless I really have to .. dont like buses
Sereiously though all these things vary from individuals but what ever it dosent mean that all women are slobs, I have known women take thier kids to school whilst still wearing pjs but dont mean they are slobs or bad people or anything like that , just they slept in (which we all do from tiime to time ) and they wanted to get thier kids to school on time.

Re: Lasses.....The've got you sussed
Wearing their man's old T-shirt in bed (44%) - all the time if not naked
Sporting ill-fitting bras and greying pants (42%) - recently my breasts have grown due to putting on weight, so the bra one is true... not with the panties though haha
Regularly leaving the house without brushing teeth or hair (26%) - I sometimes dont brush my hair, but its pretty much the same anyway
Doing the school run with a coat over their pyjamas (17%) - don't do this one of course
Drinking beer from a pint glass (43%) - definitely!? what is WRONG with this?!
Singing in the street while drunk (41%) - I sing in the street when sober, and when i'm drunk i'm too busy concentrating on getting home without singing!
Talking with their mouth full (15%) - if needs be, but not very often on this one. I at least put my hand over my mouth if I desperately need to talk.
Eating fast food and applying make-up on public transport (25%). I have done both, and I'm not that bothered about it, seen as I am constantly rushing around and don't always have time to sit and eat normally, same goes for makeup, though normally I take time over this.
I wouldn't say these things make me less of a lady. I think a lot of women feel sexy in their mans shirt in bed!?
And why the hell should women wear make up anyway, or stop drinking from pint glasses?
I think the telegraph has stooped to an all time low with writing these sort of articles in replacement of real local news. No wonder we're drinking pints nowadays
