Do agree Neil to a certain extent .. that is why I found it so amusing, however, I thought it only fair that we were afforded the same opportunity to give Cllr. Britcliffe some stick re. this as Cllr. Jones got over the Hodder Streetgate..

I think we should stick you in the public gallery at all council meetings, so you can report back.
Perhaps you could start a thread called Silly Cow Column.

Re: Leader reported for conduct breach
I know some people disagree with me on this, but still think if a square were to be built where Peel Street buses are now, would give a better and safer footfall to his cafe. Lots of people hate crossing that road now ... particularly the elderly, who are possibly his best customers.

Re: Leader reported for conduct breach
I wonder when accusations become so numerous, that you reap the benefits as a beauty product?

You really are wicked Garinda ... reminding people of this, although this 'trip of the verbals' certainly rounded my opinion on Cllr.Britcliffe.
You may have found a slot for me there ... I know I am not well up on International Affairs, financial matters, etc., but maybe in a small way I could be of some use to the community ...

Since our local journalists are now sadly spread very thinly on the ground, you'd be ideal as the people's eye-in-the-sky, so to speak, and report back as an independent observer.
Your eye-witness account on the night of Silly Cow&Gate, was most illuminating.
Katex for HBC reporter!

As he's being sent for 'one to one training' because of this breach, should we count this as number one then?

We will await the decision with bated breath Jaysay.
Sorry no link as yet to the Observer report ... last paragraph as follows:
'The matter has also been referred to the Standards Board for England. Councillor Britcliffe said he made an oversight in not declaring the personal interest, but insisted it was not a prejudicial one'
That word ' oversite' has been useful on many occasions. We only have his word that it was not a prejudicial one.

Disagree totally.
I'd say Katex was very fair, and says things as she sees them, and isn't influenced by blind loyalty...unlike some.

Odds 100 to 1 - that the 'training' will make an hapeth of difference

Thanks for your defence Garinda ... That's my problem though sometimes, can always see both sides of the story to the extent that I can never form a decent opinion..
