Post Re: Letter to the Observer

Its unlikely the observer will ever admit to making a mistake. dont usually unless something legal's involved.
hopefully seeing as they actually published the letter it will make some parents more aware of what sort of things can go wrong with a site like this. particularly with kids
Maybe the fact they plugged this site now as well will bring a few more visitors to our site, and show how a forum should be run.
look forward to seeing if the letter gets any replies.
This is a more important issue than spaceships on the coppice when all said & done.

Re: Letter to the Observer

I had already read this old post after being tipped off by Mez and Mick, on one of those long, long sleepless nights.

What just struck me though on rereading it, is where did a lot of the members go? There were a few of our 'regular' posters now, but there seemed to be a lot of people on then who had numerous posts to their names but who no longer come on here.

Where did they go?

Thanks Rindy just tried again (only a small amount from the Mod I told you about) failed and it cost me plenty of Karma.

That's because we had left the chatroom and you weren't grabbing hold of my lucky Leprechaun's leg.
