Lion or Accrington Round Table
Is there any one one her who is a member of the Lion or Accrington Round Table or what ever it is called, our scout group is very short on funds and was wondering if there is any possibility that we could get a grant, or any other way of getting some money for the group.
also if there are any organised activities that we could join in with and possibly get sponsers thanks DEAN

Accrington lions have there own site and there own messageboards. Not very busy but I presume someone monitors them

Depends what sort of money you're after and what for. If you want a decent amount of money for a project i.e. in the region of £2,000 to £5,000 I can point you in the direction of the Local Network fund and help you fill out the form. If you're looking for around £50 to help running costs then I can pass your details on to someone I know who is in the Lions.

Also, if you have some leaflets you could bring some down on Saturday and put them on the leaflet table at the International Women's Day event. I can't offer any more space than that I'm afraid as we're jam packed to the rafters.
