Angry Long distance relationships

Hi all I have been seeing a Welsh lady from Broughton Flintshire just out side imnchester.

We only get to physically meet once a Month but we video chat for about 4,hour hours daily.

I,know a lot me a lot of relationships fizzy out but where madly in love with me and I worship the ground she walks on.

Does anyone on here Ben in one if so are you still togeather or did you call it a day cause of the distance thanks for reading colly

Re: Long distance relationships

I've just read your blog. Distance isn't an obstacle if you love each other. Best wishes.

Re: Long distance relationships

As long as the first time you make that trip you don't find out that she used to be a lorry driver called Brian

Good luck to you both.

I am with everyone else on here in wishing you good luck and happiness.
Long distance relationships are not easy, but I guess it depends on what you want from the relationship.
If it suits you then that is fine, but I guess there must be some doubts or you would not be asking what we thought about it.

I was in a long distance relationship many years ago(for about 2 years)...in the end himself moved back to the UK from Oz and we got married....celebrated our Golden Wedding at the latter part of last year.

Re: Long distance relationships

I've always 'boasted' to my kids how their dad rode his (push)bike 17 miles most nights to see me (and of course had to ride the 17 miles back home). After reading some of the posts on this thread I think I'll just shut up. Doesn't compare.

Not exactly 'long distance' for many people, but, when we were 'courting',over 50-odd years ago, I used to walk from Dunkenhalgh, where we worked, up to Ossy, where Yvonne lived, on my nights off.... the return walk was often helped by a lift from the driver of the English Electric bus, officially laid on for the 6am shift workers!!

Re: Long distance relationships

I just asked him, Retlaw, and I heard him mumble something about being young and foolish. That was just before I hit him over the head with the frying pan…..just kidding, it was a rolling pin.
