Lord Fraud ...
Well, Conrad Black is looking at 35 yrs in the slammer. I don't know if any have followed this trial. But Conrad Black, born in Canada, gave up his Canadian citizenship in order to become a British peer (or pier, I'm not sure). Now, after defrauding shareholders of Hollinger International of at least 30 million bucks, he is facing serious time in a US jail. You guys should keep a tighter leash on your nobility, or, in his case, enobled robber barons.
Funny thing, if he had kept his Canadian citizenship he would be looking only at restitution and a few months easy time. (Canadians believe in restitution, Americans in retribution). I can't see my self giving up my Canadian citizenship for anything, even a peerage.
