Lost Parrot

If anyone knows anyone who has lost a parrot in the Accrington area, I have just found a parrot up a tree on Ribblesdale Avenue, Accrington. Unfortunately it is unlikely to survive very long in the wild so please ask round.

Re: Lost Parrot

I lost my parrot recently. Do you have any further details? My parrot (Chuck) is mainly green similar size to a pigeon with a long pointy blue/maroon tail and blue flight feathers (the underside of his wings are a yellow/olive colour) with red patches on his head, belly and back. Was the parrot you have seen anything like that?

I have also found an Indian ringneck which I'm caring for at the moment but would like to return it to its owners (the are probably missing it as much as I miss chuck)

Re: Lost Parrot

No I am really sorry but I couldn't describe it to you as it was right at the top of a big tree and it was going dark. I could hear it though! A few of the residents were out in the street looking at it so maybe they could help. I am walking that way this morning so will have another look and I will note the numbers of the houses that were stood outside looking and maybe you could go to theirs and give them a knock. Everyone was concerned about it so I am sure they won't mind u going round. I will pm you the house numbers when I get there.

Re: Lost Parrot

I have been for another look and couldn't see him but Ive pm'd you exactly where he was and the house numbers of the people that were stood outside looking at him. Me and my other half walk past there at least twice daily with the dog so if you pm me your number we could ring u if we spot him again. I will keep looking out for him. Let me know if you get him back.

Re: Lost Parrot

If you are not able to do so yourself if you sent me a picture and/or description with your contact number I don't mind printing some flyers for you and will push through the relevant doors this afternoon? My email is [email protected]
