I regularly get letters for some guy I've never heard of, sent to the right address, and they're from banks building, societies, Mobile phone companies, looks like some ones given the wrong address somewhere

Re: Man Sends Lottery Ticket In Post
I would think the plan was that the ticket would get lost in the post. That way we would have had a sob story in the hope pressure would be put on Camelot to pay compensation. I bet he was sick when it turned up

Re: Man Sends Lottery Ticket In Post
watchdog sent 5 birthday cards with £10 in them by royal mail as an experiment and only 4 reached their destination and teh one that did make its destination had had teh £10 removed so imagine what the chances are of a letter addressed to the national lottery had of making it.Watchdog investigated after hundreds of complaints of money been taken from cards or cards with money in simply not turning up.Royal mail also employ a lot of temps who simply left royal mail bags and trollys dumped in the street rather than deliver them which watchdog investigators found .It was a real eye opner as to how bad royal mail has got so if i must use them i send everything recorded delivery and use postal orders if i am sending money

I would never send money in the post, I always pay on line by CC or send a cheque

Tell me about it, since October the 2nd this year (and still waiting) for mail from OSFC/Lew which they've sent, but the lousy mail system & these people keep threatening strikes because plans to change the system would be detrimental to the Postal service as it stands !??? Strapback, so explain the abysmal service at present please !

Re: Man Sends Lottery Ticket In Post
Earlier this year I received a letter from the periodontics dept at Royal Blackburn with a date of my appointment, I received it at about 11am, I immediately rang the hospital to cancel the appointment, I just said sorry I ain't able to attend the appointment you have just sent me because I should actually be talking to you right now in person the appointment is for 11-15am and I've just received it in the post 10 minutes ago
