Agree
-Deunification of the United Kingdom. If Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland want their own parliaments let them go it alone.
Not economically viable for them to do so despite all the protestations up here.
This would prevent the ludicrous situation we have at the moment were Scottish M.P.'s are voting on issues in Westminster that only affects English and Welsh law.
Ironic is it not based on past historic voting and laws concerning what was deemed good for the Scots i.e. Poll Tax.
Also we now have the situation were Scottish senior citizens don't have to sell their homes to pay for residential care if they need it, unlike their English counterparts.
Yes and the size of the population might be a reason.
Also Scottish students don't have to pay for university tuition fees, unlike the English.
A large number come north to benefit this.
-End the drugs postcode lottery. If a patient needs a particular drug treatment, let them have them. This should not come down to where you live, and if the relevant local health authority can afford it or not.

Lol mind you when its gone and its import galore then what will you do?? We have enough wind up here for wind farms and might use it. Nuke is not an option at the mo.
Wait till the next hosepipe ban and water shortage we will have plenty and might sell at a premium price.

good one but i think its too late for that. i think there should be a integrated network co-ordinator who makes decisions for a timetable of integrated public transport network .any companies who dont meet the network co-ordinator criteria has their contract terminated and has a hefty fine and the money invested back into the network. plus a clause in the contract about the standards of the transport .i still cant believe how bad preston train station and the trains are in the northwest its like travelling in a third world country.the scarborough train is alright but the northern trains are just short of scandalous.

Have you got a grown-up to write that for you? It's the most sensible post I've ever seen you make!

10 make people who want to organise an event to have a licence and to have to get it from your local police so they can check you out for a criminal record..
