So why didn't he follow on that success, invest more money, bring in a few better players - your one time hero Shearer has said that the lack of foresight in not improving the team after winning the Premiership is the cause of their downward spiral towards oblivion

Just listened to Radio 5 live's Nicky Campbell's phone in on the pros n cons August Bank Holiday should be named Margaret Thatcher Day.
It will be available on catch up later today.
