Norway still has National Service, and access to firearms is still more liberal than in the UK. He would no doubt have been trained in the use of large calibre automatic weapons he may even have had further military training beyond the minimum period.

One thing puzzles me though. Breivik obtained money to purchase a large farm in Norway -from whom did he get the money? That farm was supposidly an organic farm, but he then proceeded to order 6 tons of nitrate fertiliser to make his Oslo bomb. Surely someone, somewhere, would have realised that any farm proclaiming to be organic would not use artificial nitrates.

Do you really need an answer to that Tealeaf?..he got the stuff because he is a farmer and they get special benifits.. lets get things clear.. this man is a tory..I'd say that most Western nations are quite rightly looking towards muslim groups that are intent on murder.. As our prime minister has said any extremist group can and will do damage and this bloke has stated he does have contacts in the UK.. so where does this end?

I must admit, it's puzzled me. I certainly can't get my head around 'organic lamb'. But I do know there is such a thing as the Soil Association and I do know there is a policing mechanism for those farms and companies which wish to use the organic label in the UK. Maybe I've assumed that Norway, being a trendy scandavian country, is somewhat ahead of us in this matter.

One thing is for sure - the Scandavian crime writing industry is going to make something out of this. You only have to follow the adventures of Wallender or the writings of Steig Larsson to know there is a dark side to the nordic psyche. This thing could do to their crime writing what Abba did for their music.

But surely, if this guy was concerned about Islam, he would simply have blown up a few mosques or hit a few ghettoes? Why not the obvious targets according to his philosophy?

Tories do claim to farm but the Poles and such do all the work for a pittance.. the farmers vote tory and the Poles don't even vote..that is the reality of Britain. I could go on but it gets boring,

That is the obvious thing to do but this bloke was obviously some sort of nutter. What right minded person could walk around shooting people led on the floor to make sure they were dead?
