Mount Carmel closed today
As title says, heard on 2BR that Mount Carmel school is closed today, can only assume they've got heating problems cos there's not that much snow

I posted in another thread that Bacup and rawtenstall grammar is closed, as is alder grange (ag is only till eleven).

Its about time that schools starting splitting heating into several systems so when something goes wrong only a section of the school is affected. I think if it is heating it is very poor that the whole school has to close.
It shows a very poor understanding of what problems closing a school causes for parents.

Did u not get a text from the school at 7am, to say it was because the road was in-assessable, even my milkman didnt make it up in his 4x4 - must of been bad!

No I didn't get a text, which is strange cos I've had texts about all sorts of other things some of which don't really need to be texted - like a reminder that the kids can't wear trainers for school but luckily we had the radio on so knew about it that way. Must be pretty bad up your way then Mel.
