Movember

Any other Accy members taking part in the Movember initiative? It is to raise awareness of men´s health, particularly the importance of spotting the signs of testicular and prostate cancer. The idea is to grow a moustache during November and seek sponsorship for doing it.

My pals and I are taking part, and there are a lot of strange growths sprouting on the upper lips of some of the regulars who have been clean shaven all their lives. We are rapidly reaching a stage where we can hold auditions for Village People!

But it´s for a worthwhile cause!

My brother in law in Oz does this every year(well, he has for the past three years) I sponsor him and get regular updates of his face fungus.

I remember in the early 80's almost everyone had a tash. My dad used to have on. I think a tas makes a bloke look older than he actually is.

You should let him try Flashy - my son still has a baby face at 24! To look the part for travelling in India (he's in Goa at the moment) he grew a full beard for the first time, makes him look like a man at last -not my little boy any more...

I've got a beard! Two of my mate's have just grown 'taches - they look like baddies from a spaghetti western!

My sons growing one, or should i say trying to grow one. He's 23 and his tach seems to be showing bald patches, but at least he's trying.

Re: Movember

A few of the guys in our regional office are also taking part. The last time I grew a moustache in the 1970s, I looked like Jason King. Remember him?

If young Heth is going to be displaying her beard I think she'd best get herself over to the naughty room.
