Re: Mrsa At Blackburn Hospital.

In the Hospital Infections thread a couple of days ago, Lettie said don't believe everything you read in the paper re the hospital at Blackburn. I asked her if she meant that there was no MRSA in the Neonatal unit after all but she hasn't replied yet. Don't think she's been on for a couple of days.

Re: Mrsa At Blackburn Hospital.

Nothing has been kept under wraps and all parents were informed in a timely manner as soon as the hospital knew exactly what it was dealing with. The LET claimed that they were not. Don't believe everything you read in the papers because hospitals hands are tied and they cannot dispute claims without breaching confidentiality. Hospitals are basically damned if they do and damned if they don't.
