Very seldom I disagree with you kate, but I do on this one, I have never looked on the human race as animals, only a few feral members if it. I look on at life in a different way, I take people as I find them, irrespective of race, creed or colour, and until somebody does me a wrong its live and let live, and in my experience I have far more to be wary of my own kind than other races. The only thing I will say is that the immigration open door policy needs changing, there is nothing any one can do about about people already living here, some are now third generation and are as British as everybody else, but in the present climate when unemployment is going up every day, excepting people from all over the world must be curtailed or our vital services will buckle under the stain.

No Eric but Gordie is treating Islam as a race, and the fact that he is taking all Muslims as terrorist, when they aren't, only very few are terrorist the rest are as peace loving as you and me.

Nope. The "good ole boys" are in places like Montana ... you know, the Aryan Nations White Supremacist nutbars. The Taliban are, like it or not, part of the fabric of Afghan culture and society ... and I don't see that the Western Allies, my own countrymen and women among them, have any right, god-given or otherwise, to interfere in how the Afghans run their country.
I also agree with Kate.

Think Gordie is correct in this instance , nationalism is a 'new' concept to many muslims , the idea of "my country, right or wrong" is an alien concept , the loyalty is to Islam first and country second . Saying that , I must add that I think the 'West' is responsible for a lot of the problems since we created most of these countries through our colonialism (same with Africa) .

Well I agree and disagree SJ, I agree about the colonialism bit, look what a mess we made of America but on Islam I can't agree, okay Muslims put more emphasis on religion than we do on Christianity, but the majority no more agree with terrorism than I do, plain and simple

I am sure you are a very good hearted and a well meaning person but very misguided and way out of touch.Your overwhelming need to run down the west and defend any comments regarding islam or ethnic issues draws you to jump to coclusions with my quotes and play the racist card plain and simple.

Why do you think you know better & can teach the members on here to think the way you do?
You put forward your ideas and they have basically been rejected, perhaps, we prefer our ignorance rather than have you tell us what to think?
Or,
Maybe you're wrong?
Sorry I apologise, how could that be possible?
