I hadn't paid much attention to her not being online because she'd said she was going in hosp for a planned op so I just assumed it was that.
Good job your Mum's friend noticed the lamppost and realised what had happened even though he did go back the wrong way to get to her! Sometimes you just have to do these things. Lucky there weren't any more cars in the way.
I can understand the emergency services saying not to move her as that could cause permanent paralysis if someone has a spinal injury - but when the option is being choked to death by the seatbelt common sense has to take over and I'm sure he did the right thing and probably saved her life.
She certainly must have had an angel watching over her and an angel going back to help her too.
Give her our love and tell her we hope she makes a full speedy recovery.
I know how hard it is to get to sleep when you're worried about someone in hospital. It will probably all catch up on you once she's home
Yea she was soppose to go in for her OP today... that has been cancelled .
Alec, I only know your mum from reading her posts on this forum. Looking at the photos, she seems to have been very lucky to get out of that car alive. I'm sure she doesn't feel at all lucky just now but, whatever the future brings, she's still here and she's still got you. That's the important thing.
I hope her recovery is speedy and successful. Best wishes to both of you.

Good Grief Alec that's even worse than I'd been imagining. She truly is lucky. It doesn't look like anyone could have got out of that alive. It sent shivers down me just seeing the photos.
