Nanny knows best, two drink free days.

BBC News - Two drink-free days a week needed, MPs' report says

It doesn't apply to me, I already have three drink free days,
They fall between when my money runs out and the next pay day.

I wonder if the MP's are going to abide by this as well.
I know what I would be telling Nanny to do....it would start with P and end in OFF!

I do think this is a better way of putting it rather than you can have so many units a week like they have previously tried to put it in the news.

People cant be bothered counting thier units and after a few too many you forget what number you got up to so you have to start again!!!

I dont think its that bad 2 nights a week aint going to be hard to stick to.

I know I made light of it in my first post, but, and yes it's a big but,
Do we really need that set of pea heads with their 24 hour bars in Westminster telling us how often we should drink?
The vast majority of us drink sensibly, there are exceptions to this, but why on earth should we the silent majority of drinkers have to be advised about how often we take a break from drinking? We in the main need nobody directing us, (if I wanted advice on drinking it wouldn't be from a politician) we have a mature and sensible method of guaging when we imbibe too much...

We fall over!

Instead of sitting about in their subsidised bars wouldn't they better employed running the country ?

They don't need to - they have bureaucrats in Brussels to do it for them!

We fall over!
I rest my Liver once a week for 24 hours as suggested by the health authorities in Italy.

Have never fallen over as usually someone was on hand to ( very considerately) help me home...

Needing toast in a morning, a double whammy of paracetamol and 5 mugs of tea before lunchtime is a sign of having overdone it a bit. Usually a hearty English breakfast plus Buck's Fizz sorts out any problems of the "day after the night before".
