Near miss tomorrow!

You may or may not want to know but a chunk of rock nearly a mile across will pass rather close ( in space terms!) to earth tomorrow, it will be just over 16 times further away than the moon ( or 0.045x the distance from us to the sun).

If you would like to say hello its called 2010 JL33.

Re: Near miss tomorrow!

technically yes( as in physics everything affectes everything else to some degree), but such an order of magnitude less than the moon which is 2159 miles across and obviously closer that it would be pretty much unmeasurable. no need to worry about high tides or tsunami's!

I'm surprised you haven't blamed the near miss on 13 years of Labour mismanagement of the UK space programme.
