Neil Armstrong

A true self effacing man who never courted publicity. So long Neil

RIP Neil Armstrong, First Man on the Moon

A comment from twitter....With computer overloaded and landing site strewn with boulders, he cooly adjusted and landed the eagle safely with 15 seconds of fuel to spare'

I got tears in my eyes

Very sad. "hero" is an overused title, but he earned it a thousand times over. ... I am a huge space fan and had the honor of being a chaperone to Buzz Aldrin a couple of years ago at an event at NASA Ames in Mountain View, CA.

What's really terrible is he is probably less known than Katie Price and Peter Andre by today's kids. To me he is a true hero. He literally risked his life when the rocket took off
