New Era Complex

The New Era Complex in Paradise Street will be shortly celebrating its Fifth year of opening.Currently a thriving Youth and Community centre, over the years the site has had quite a few different uses.
It has been a Mill ,Tea room(I think) Dance Hall and Youth Club.

My plea for help is can anyone give me any information of these earlier events?
Memories of mis-spent youth, tripping the light fantastic are welcome.
Photographs would be an added bonus, any used would be copied and credited to the owner.
So if you can please help!!

Re: New Era Complex

Thanks Mick I should've checked|
What I am after is memories of all the sites past uses not just the Youth Club, although I realise time has probably taken its toll on the Tea room users.
Please keep the memories coming either on the other thread or here.
Help is required!

Re: New Era Complex

There will be a series of celebrations next year with themes based on the sites past use,e.g.Mill, Tearooms, Disco era(pun intended) and such. Also a Website is planned,so any information will be welcomed.
As for copyright Bob,if you get the permission of the photographs owner there is no problem,so if you have any lets see them!
