I think it works like this, bud: The unions are associated, at least in peoples' minds, with Labour. So, when the unions go on strike, or threaten to, the Party and the PM take a lot of heat. What always pees me off, is that it doesn't seem to work in the other direction. When the bankers, business leaders and financial manipulators screw up, shouldn't the tories get some heat? After all, all those guys are associated, at least in peoples' minds, with the tories
