New Year, New Job.
I start a new job next week as a school teacher in a High School and I am a little apprehensive. This is a second career and something I have always wanted to do. I have a orientation tomorrow and I have just sent back the form electronically, some of the questions were to say the least strange to an ex brit, I will give you a couple of examples......
Do you hold a gun permit?
Have you ever shot anyone, in self defence or on purpose?
Have you ever been a gang member, gang leader, or associated with any gangs?
Do you have tattoos? if so where and what size?
Can you walk up stairs?

Re: New Year, New Job.
The best of luck.
I'm sure you'll be a fine teacher.
Will it be like Rydale High in Grease?

Re: New Year, New Job.
Best of luck to you Bazf in your new job, although I must say these questions sound like an advertisement for a bodyguard.

Re: New Year, New Job.
Thats what I thought Ian, but there was 30 odd questions those were the ones I thought were strange, should I have put that I was in a gang at Woodnock Primary and we were terrifying to the girls, ponytails in inkwells and stuff. I can walk up stairs but why would you need to know this? Thanks for all your good will, I am now off for my orientation.

Re: New Year, New Job.
Just suppose your answers had been:-
Yes
Yes
Yes
Yes, everywhere, huge
No
Would you still have got the job?
Best wishes for your future.
