Your reference to what money was/is being spent on was what I meant, obviously I didn't make it clear; I apologize.
My original point was that I do not see why people are getting all riled up about the issue of the lights/signs situation as it isn't a one off, and it isn't exactly a huge financial or aesthetic problem to Accrington!
Perhaps I'm wrong....but I do have a right to be, don't I?

See you're the new Garinda.

A-b's fresh whipping boy.

My tip would be show him due respect, be a bit cheeky, drop in the odd curtsie, and you'll soon have him eating out of the palm of your hand.

The best of British etc.

what shop is this then..?

i do know of a cloths shop that used to be across from chaplins chip shop (its a chineese now) that was going to be sold to a drinks company but luckily a petition was set up by just drinks further up the road and it didnt get to go ahead thanx to almost everyone in the area sighning the petition against it

unfortunatly despite this petition a couple of years after booze busters managed to get permision to open up yet another un needed offlicence and ever since it opened my area has been plagued by under aged drinkers in the street , vadelism and broken glass from the bottles all over the damn place

ime not saying booze busters sells to minors but its their bags that get left behind with the empties so they are getting it somehow from there

Re: New Year...same old story!

It seems to be anational problem this broken booze bottles and underage drunks. It wouldnt be bad if they binned the rubbish and used the bottle banks but maybe they are so out of their skulls they have dropsey. It is quieter up here for the first few weeks in the New Year but it wont be long before normal services is resumed especially the hounding of people going into the local shops that do serve booze.
