Be careful with the stories, my daughter loved a bed time story every night. By the time she started school she promptly fell asleep every time they had an afternoon story. The teachers used to let her sleep (well, she was the youngest in the year), thankfully she grew out of it by the time she went into the juniors . It was soooo funny, I still tease her about it.

Don't think thats a daft as you make it sound pipinfort, if they've come up with a childs push chair it won't be long before there is a wheelchair in the shops for old rockers like me

Re: newest chavvy toy!
Silliest idea I’ve heard of in a while, fail to see the point of it. It probably wont be long before all pushchairs are like that though.

You most likely do have Chavs, just called something else - Chav a short definition

Re: newest chavvy toy!
I think that prams should have a self contained supply of oxygen to counter the exhaust fumes that are spewed out into their little faces.

Re: newest chavvy toy!
I remember looking at these when expecting the boys, I dont think that they are that bad an idea, fair enough where you can talk to your child your should but shopping etc is just boring for them, all they can see is legs!!! I talk to my boys and have on more than one occasion been caught singing to them in town too. I dont think it's chavvy (and no im not a chav either) I think its just another one of these things that move on with time, Might be beneficial for a child , you can play nursery rhymes, abc's etc through it not just chavvy bounce music. The speakers are near the child not the mum so it will be the little one listening really, and doubt that it would play too loud, they must have thought about that, so that it plays no louder than the allowed level of say a childs toy

Single parents / low income parents (under a certain threshold) qualify for a maternity grant of £500 to buy things for the baby, this isnt any more expensive than a lot of the prams on the market really, have seen many "chavs" in town pushing round £300+ prams
