you can get double buggys that are the same size as a single but these are really designed for an older child and a new baby.. my friends after getting one and another friend has one that looks like the baby is in the shopping basket lol... Emzys boys are big lads and pretty heavy ( trust me lol) so their buggy will be extra hard to shift about

that may be so but just because I say I used a shopping trolley I am not taling about the exact width of one..I am talking about 4ft wide between things which is ample room for anyone really..should someone have gotten stuck then it was not probs as some things were in trolleys which were simple to move..and to be honest..the amount of double buggys and wide wheelchairs that actually came in where a tiny % so there never was any troubles..
I even kept a can wd40 under my desk for prams with squeeky wheels...now that was service!

The main reason people have so much trouble with shopping trolleys is that the blood wheels have a mind of their own, one wants to go right the other left and the others can't be assed to move at all

If you had an upstairs/downstairs contraption, at least you could get two children out and about, and it would only take up the same floor space as a single pushchair.

Those double decker ones (phil & Ted) are expensive and the child underneath cant really see anything so unless young would get bored very easily. Have also thought about the one infront of the other but given the size and weight of my two I would have to be very very strong to lift it up kerbs etc, I have to more or less jump on the back of mine to get it up kerbs because of the weight (they arent small my two, as many can vouch for, they are both bigger than average for their age) so and stuck really. The style I have is the most suitable for there age (and is one of the narrowest for a side by side) but still a nightmare cornering etc. Ive tried numerous different styles of double prams but side by side was the only one suitable for my 2, Im not the smallest person either and am quite strong (given there are times ive to hold or carry both the boys at once) but still struggle with it, evern in the stores that have wider aisles etc


I would be more than happy to provide a walk round service for stores to check their suitablility in aisle width

Just got back from the Asda,Two pluses - Not a push chair in sight and cans are back down to £20 for 45.
