Oh to be 5 again

What amusing things have your children, or anyone elses for that matter said to you ?
My five year-old asked me the other day "Daddy, do pigs lay sausages ?"

LEN!!!!!!

Some of my friends kids have cracked me up over the years, including my mates son. When I told him to take his hand out of his pants (well, we were in town at the time) he insisted he was scratching his tentacles.....

I remember eating half a packet of Solvite wallpaper paste as a kid by dipping a spanish into it. Ended up in Accy Vic having a stomach washout (nice)...

I remember being 5, and when you got hurt or something was wrong - all it took was your mum to give you a cuddle and tell you everything was alright - and suddenly everything was.

I also wish I could skip along the street like a 5 year old without looking weird!

It was great back then, there weren't many cars in the mid seventies and on a hot day we used to spend hours popping the bubbles in the tar on the roads.

Re: Oh to be 5 again

Seventies summer - who remember's having to have vinegar and olive oil rubbed on then burning. Must have reeked. Also getting a good hiding for messing in the tar like
Lettie and Grego.

ooh I was a tar popper too.

When my oldest daughter was much younger she was playing with our dog and he scratched her with his paw. She complained that he had "bitten me with his leg"
