Just a note to say that Mr Oxley has pleaded guilty to attempting to rape and actual bodily harm. I doubt justice will be done.

Oxley hit the headlines in 2007 when he was jailed for an attempted burglary.

During this case, it emerged he had set up home with his probation officer, who was then sacked from the agency.

It is understood the couple have since separated.

Speaking after the latest case, Detective Superintendent Neil Hunter, who led the investigation, said Oxley was a ‘sad and wicked’ individual who was a danger to women.

But how long will it be before the scumbag is back on the streets, not long enough that's for sure. These people never change and when he gets out he'll only do it again, with people like this throwing the key away is more than appropriate
