Re: One armed sunburn!!

Accrington was bloody hot today; a lot hotter than Blackpool are that’s how it appeared to me. Don’t like the heat although this year is probably the first time I’ve ever allowed myself to get a tan. I normally stay in and avoid the Sun.

I don’t know what it’s like over there now, but its Shreddies weather up here and the fans not helping. Its hot and humid, the dog stinks and I’m not much better and worse of all I’ve run out of beer.

It's still sultry and clammy here.

I'm sat here naked with the French doors open, but in the words of Nick Ross on Crimewatch 'please don't have nightmares'.

been too hot today, and I didn't get to go anywhere. Tomorrow it's severn valley railway for the war weekend with a picnic on the bank of the river.

Seriously then, like Katex said cover up. A long sleeved loose cotton shirt will stop it or a high factor sun cream.

Welcome to Accy Web by the way.

Why's all the skin coming off your right arm though?

Oh, they will !

Can see you a lost cause elite .. can only suggest you don't speak to people full frontal.

Kept us night owls amused last night though and, of course, is a serious social problem to boot.

Re: One armed sunburn!!

I leave the windows up and turn on the air con. Then I can drive cool comfortable and my hay fever doesn't bother me because most air con systems have a pollen filter.

Re: One armed sunburn!!

Use a spray tan on the left arm to try and even things out.

Or one leg of an old pair of American tan tights used as an arm stocking, taking care to wash the gusset well for reasons of health and safety, will achieve a similar effect.

Rindy; I hope she wasn’t wearing them when you tried this style of Sun screening out. I don’t know where all this comes from my friend but its time you found yourself a hobby. Have you tried Snake wrestling?
