What was the project?

Our church is in Blackburn and it's had a few open days off it's own bat.

Oh right, so it was part of a walk from St. Peter's on Sunday afternoon?

Unfortunately we're just about leaving church in Blackburn at that time so wouldn't have been back anyway.

Maybe I'll get another chance in the future. It's good to see things first hand rather than what other people tell you other people do, or a small representative group which isn't really all that representative giving their version which might not be everybody's version. We get that a lot and people end up believing all sort of weird things that aren't real.

Higher Antley St mosque did a mini open day thingy for the teachers and governors once because a lot of the school's pupils go there.

yeah it seemed to b really quite good - they had power point presentations set up - they had assigned ppl to show non-muslims around and explain the what was goin on during prayer etc

and they served food!
