Owl Hall

Hi, anyone heard the same rumour as me, that the gentleman who has "re-vamped" Stone Fold Church, is the same gentleman who may be buying Owl Hall?

Re: Owl Hall

I used to want to live there when I was a child. I hope he revamps it sympathetically. No, I hadn't heard anything about who it is who has it or may be buying it.

Re: Owl Hall

it is owned now by the same guy that has recently modified the church in rising bridge. he said as soon as that is sold for just short of a million he is starting turning owl hall into a 6 or 7 bedroom luxury house.

Re: Owl Hall

Ooooh. Is it for his own use or for selling? Not that we could afford it but I've always fancied living there..

Re: Owl Hall

There's a lot of rumours doing the rounds. One about demolition for 17 new houses. That I can't see getting planning permission and Owl Hall may be listed?

The previous owner has wrecked the wall to run a business from a house without planning permission. The lorries carrying the stone caused los of problems.

I pushed for prosecution which in the end The Council did. I believe he has left and relative is now there. A sale to fellow who has done Rising Bridge Church up would be a good thing so long as the character is kept and the damage made good.
