Re: ozzy christmas cards

I’m from Gt Harwood and I haven’t seen any card with Harwood printed on the front but then again I haven’t really looked.
I suppose I’m just a typical male, I only go into card shops when I have too (forced, threatened, blackmailed etc).

Speaking of cards does anyone actually ever read the nice verses/ poems that are written on/ in them? Or are you like me and just pull out any, as long as it fits the right occasion because at the end of the day they are all nice otherwise they wouldn’t be selling them.

I bought a fridge magnet from Moor End Post Office with Foxhill Bank nature reserve on it, which I can see from my bedroom window, to send to my friend Milly in Milan, to remind her of her trip to Oswaldtwistle in the summer.

Re: ozzy christmas cards

I don’t bother looking really, I get someone else to write and send them. I only read the inside bit when there’s no escape, like when the buggers stand there with a silly grin on their clock.

I'd love to find one that said Merry Christmas from Accrington.

Re: ozzy christmas cards

I have received Ossie Xmas cards from my brother and his family and it´s really nice. They take pride of place on my cupboard. It is probably his wife who chooses them as he is a little laid back............but good all the same.
