Parking Fine

I cant believe it and I am furious. I went do drop my Gran off in town and then went to park up back of Abby Street (Charlie Browns) where I normally try to park. I went for a hair cut (30 Min's tops) I was first in the cue and when I got back I had a Penalty on the van. I was told a few months ago (and I have a witness) by a Traffic Warden that the parking dial did not need to show the right time, just as long as it was there visible on the front. So I was lied to by a Traffic Warden - unbelievable.
Does anybody know is it possible to sue Parkwise over this. I am furious.

Re: Parking Fine

read this site

http://www.parkingticket.co.uk/em.html

check the lines are legal for starters

http://www.ticketbusters.co.uk/

If you are in any doubt you should appeal. Local Authorities do not like you to appeal as it costs them time and money.

THINGS TO CONSIDER…
If you do wish to appeal then do not pay the charge.

If you pay the charge the council will close the case.

It is worth remembering that in most areas, the 50% discount on your PCN is preserved within the initial 14-day period.

You therefore have nothing to lose by appealing against the issue of the PCN.

Most local authorities will give you a further period to pay, should they not accept your representations (please note that this does not apply to tickets issued on Red Routes).

Re: Parking Fine

It doesn't say nothing about deceiving Traffic Wardens?

Re: Parking Fine

check both sites out they may have issued the ticket wrong or done somthing else wrong

also if a yelow line has any breaks in it that also makes them illigal and grounds for not paying

read up on it you may discover yo dont have to pay and as for decieving traffic wardens you shuold know better than to trust one of those bast**ds lol

You said earlier that you had dropped her off. Presumably, she is ambulant enough to make her own way around town, in which case she would probably enjoy the company on a bus ride, probably more so than your moaning.

Re: Parking Fine

Presumably is a word you use too loosely as she was dropped off and my mother is waiting to collect her as she cannot support her self. Probably more so than you unhelpful and negative manner.

You dropped off an elderly lady who cannot support herself? Have you no shame? And you complain about a parking fine?
